Optics in LED Lighting
Optical components for LEDs play an important role in
the success of a lighting product. With a correctly designed optics, the light output of a LED can be effectively and accurately projected in a controllable manner. It is a real challenge for every lighting product designer to be able to specify the optical components in a correct way, to maximize performance of the LED, while achieving the specific requirement of the light product. There are a lot of parameters to take care of for each optics design. To satisfy the requirement of each application, the parameters of different optical solutions have to be specifically considered carefully and in detail.
